My Magazine: Exposure

So now I have had a couple of weeks to recuperate after the stress of end of year deadlines, I can now happily say that second year of uni is over, and my summer has begun! After months and months of extremely hard work, I have to say, I'm quite proud of the end result. This is my very own, final, printed magazine, Exposure. Everything inside is all of my own work; styling, photography, editing, CAD work, layout, interview. There were three themes running through this magazine; fruit, feminism, and an interview with designer Kiera Ann Marie of KAM Kouture. 

Ladies Day Style

After a fabulous day at Ladies Day at the Aintree Grand National last week, it was a lovely surprise the next morning to see myself and the girls on a double page spread in The Echo newspaper! Although I didn't come back rich, I did feel a million dollars. So, here's a breakdown of my outfit.

Pastels & Boyfriend Jeans

Working at River Island definitely has it's bonuses when you're surrounded by so many gorgeous clothes, shoes, accessories.. Not so good on my bank balance though, I must admit! My latest outfit consists of this lovely pastel pink top, slim boyfriend fit jeans and worn with either a pair of black boots and cute little socks, or a pair of summery flats, just like my favourite pastel loafers from RI. The cross between girly and boyish styles is great for me as I don't like to look overly feminine with pink/frilly things! Everything here is bought from River Island and is all current season (although the boots are no longer in stock).

Kendall Jenner - Next Top Model?

Strutting her stuff down the catwalk for Marc Jacobs, sitting front row at London Fashion Week with none other than Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, if Kendall Jenner thought she was 'living the dream' then, I cannot even imagine how she must be feeling now! After walking for Giles Deacon at LFW, the 18 year old has well and truly topped it all off by jetting off once again and making her way down the catwalk for Givenchy at Paris Fashion Week (looking enviably gorgeous as always). So, is this the beginning of one of the worlds next top models? Watch this space.

Stepping Into Pastels

Embracing this Springs pastel trend and hoping it brings some nicer weather with it, my latest purchase is these fabulous patent leather loafers from River Island. As a fan of a good flat shoe, I literally am in love with these! The pale blue colour brightens up my extremely monochrome wardrobe and just makes me feel like there may eventually be an end to this awful weather. And after wearing them for an entire day around London and encountering zero blisters, these are definitely my new favourite shoes.
